VPNGV / QUICKSTART

VPNGV Quick Start

Create an account → choose a plan → get your subscription → import it into a client → verify the connection. Follow the steps in order, confirming each one works before moving on.

Menus vary between platforms and client versions. This guide uses general terms such as “subscription,” “configuration,” and “import”; refer to the labels currently shown in your dashboard and client. Get both the client and subscription from the user dashboard. Example URLs in the documentation cannot be used to connect.

Create an Account and Open the User Dashboard

Open the account link below to access the VPNGV user dashboard. Create an account with a username and password; no email address is required. Before entering your details, make sure the address bar shows the official site. Follow the on-screen instructions to set a username and password. Use a unique password and store it in a trusted password manager rather than relying only on your browser to remember your login.

After submitting the form, follow the dashboard prompts to open your account overview. If asked to log in, use the username and password you just saved. If you already have an account, sign in instead of creating another one. If your username is unavailable or your entry doesn’t meet the requirements, read the field guidance, make the necessary changes, and try again. Don’t create multiple accounts to troubleshoot the form.

First, make sure you can open the account overview and that you’re signed in to the account you intend to use. Your orders, plan, and subscription should all be checked under the same account. Creating an account and activating a plan are separate steps: signing in to the dashboard doesn’t mean you already have a working subscription. Next, choose a plan and confirm the order status.

Choose a Plan and Check Your Order Status

Go to the plans section of the dashboard and compare monthly plans with data packages. Monthly plans suit regular use: ¥9.9/month includes 60GB, ¥18/month includes 250GB, and ¥28/month includes 500GB. Data resets monthly on the activation date. Choose based on your usage—browsing and streaming video consume different amounts of data. You don’t need a higher tier just because you use more devices; VPNGV allows unlimited simultaneous devices.

Data packages suit occasional or variable use: ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB, and ¥658/3000GB. They remain valid until the data is used and never expire. The main difference from a monthly plan is how long the data remains valid; “never expire” does not mean you can keep connecting after the data runs out. Check the full pricing and billing details on the plans page before returning to the dashboard to choose a plan.

Before placing your order, check that the plan, amount, and data allowance shown are correct. Then use the payment option provided in the dashboard. Alipay, WeChat Pay, and USDT are supported; follow the instructions shown for your chosen method. After payment, return to the dashboard to check the order and plan status. If the status hasn’t updated yet, check the existing order instead of submitting another one.

VPNGV offers a 30-day money-back guarantee. See the Terms of Service for details. If you upgrade a monthly plan before it expires, the price difference is converted into remaining days, so you can’t estimate the new expiry date by simply using the full monthly price. Once the dashboard shows that your plan is active, get your subscription. This helps avoid mistaking a plan that hasn’t taken effect yet for a client issue.

Get Your Subscription and Prepare the Client

Open the account overview in the user dashboard and check your plan status and data allowance. Then find the option to copy or import your subscription. A subscription isn’t an ordinary webpage URL for a particular region; it lets the client retrieve your account’s route configuration. Copy it from your current account’s dashboard, not from search results, public chats, or someone else’s screenshot.

If the dashboard offers an import option for your installed client, follow the prompts to open it. If you haven’t installed a client yet, go to the client download section in the dashboard. You must be logged in to download the client or get your subscription, and access depends on your plan status as shown in the dashboard. If your browser doesn’t open the app, don’t keep clicking the import link. First check that the app is installed and opens normally.

To import manually, copy the full subscription URL from the dashboard, then switch to your client and paste it there. The example below shows the URL format only; it isn’t a real subscription. Your URL may include a long string of parameters. Don’t edit it manually, and don’t split it up just because it wraps onto multiple lines on screen.

https://example.com/sub?token=YOUR_TOKEN

Keep your subscription URL secure as an account credential. Don’t post it on public websites, include it in screenshots, or share it in support requests. When reporting an issue, you can describe the client, operating system, selected region, and error message without sending the full URL. Once you’ve copied your actual subscription, follow the platform instructions below to import it. Connect from the client afterward; don’t paste the URL into a browser to see whether it opens.

Import the Client for Your Platform

Use a VPNGV client provided in the dashboard that supports subscription imports, and choose the version for your operating system. The usual steps are to add a remote configuration, update the route list, then enable the configuration and connect. Menu names below are provided as a guide; they may differ between versions. If the dashboard has instructions for your client, follow those first.

Windows: Add a Subscription and Enable the Configuration

Choose Windows in the client download section of the dashboard, then get and install the client by following the instructions. When you first open it, look for a “Configuration” or “Subscription” page and choose “Add,” “Import,” or “Import from URL.” Paste the full URL you copied from the account overview. If the client asks for a configuration name, enter one that’s easy to recognize. It’s only a local label; don’t use it in place of the subscription URL.

After saving, update the configuration and confirm that a route list appears. Then set this configuration as the one to use. Follow the client’s prompts to enable the system proxy or network routing features needed for connection. Don’t change several network settings at once if you’re unsure what they do. For more detailed installation and startup instructions, see Windows Setup for Beginners. Then return here to verify your connection.

macOS: Import a Remote Configuration and Check Permissions

Get the macOS client from the dashboard, then install and open it as instructed. Go to configuration or subscription management, choose the option to add a remote configuration by link, paste your subscription URL, and save. Update the configuration to load the route list. If you use the dashboard’s app-opening link, check that the configuration was actually added after switching to the client. A browser prompt alone doesn’t confirm a successful import.

When you first enable a network connection, macOS may ask you to allow a network configuration or related system permissions. Check that the app named in the prompt matches the client you just installed, then grant permission as instructed. If permission is denied, review the relevant item in System Settings instead of looking for an installer from another source. For detailed installation and permission instructions, see The Complete Beginner’s Guide to VPNs on Mac.

Android: Save the Subscription and Allow the VPN Connection

Choose Android in the client download section of the dashboard, then get and install the client as instructed. Open the app and find the link import option under “Subscription,” “Configuration,” or “Remote Configuration.” Paste the URL and save it. Then update the configuration manually and confirm that the regions or routes appear. If the list is empty, first check whether the subscription update succeeded; don’t start changing system network settings right away.

Select the imported configuration and a route, then connect. When Android asks for VPN connection permission, confirm the request is from the client you’re using and allow it. If the connection switch won’t stay on, check whether another VPN app is controlling the connection. Stop the other connection before trying again. Battery-saving and background management can affect whether the app stays active; if the connection changes after you leave the app, check the relevant background permissions in your system settings.

iOS: Get the App and Add a Configuration as Instructed

Open the iOS client section in the dashboard and follow its instructions to get the app from the App Store. Getting the app and choosing a service plan are separate steps. Check the App Store listing for any additional app charges or requirements. After installing the app, return to the dashboard and use the import option for that client if available. If it doesn’t open the app, choose “Add Subscription” or “Import from URL” in the client’s configuration settings.

Paste the full subscription URL, save it, and update the configuration. Then choose a configuration and target route. The first time you connect, iOS may ask to add a VPN configuration. Verify the app’s source, confirm, and complete any required device authorization. Check the connection status in the client before continuing with the access test below. Saving a subscription to the list doesn’t mean the network connection is active.

Linux and Other Devices

VPNGV also supports Linux, and the client download link is in the user dashboard. Follow the current dashboard instructions for the appropriate setup; don’t assume the Windows menu steps apply. Unlimited devices means you can use your account subscription on supported platforms, not that every operating system has the same configuration screens. For more on route types, device sharing, and network routing, see the VPN Selection Guide. You don’t need to adjust everything before your first connection.

Connect to a Route and Verify Access

Return to the client and make sure you’re using the configuration you just imported and updated. Expand the route list and choose a region suitable for the service you want to use. For your first setup, test one route before changing modes or regions repeatedly. This makes it easier to tell whether a problem is related to the import, permissions, or route selection. See the route list for details on regions and route types. The options available in your client depend on your account subscription.

After connecting, check that the client shows an active connection, then verify the VPN or proxy status in your system settings. Open the international website or app you plan to use, reload the page, and confirm that the content loads. If the app has been open for a while, it may still be using an earlier network session. Close and reopen it before checking again.

For AI tools or streaming services, also check sign-in, page loading, and content access within the platform itself. A webpage loading only confirms that the request received a response; it doesn’t guarantee that your account, regional eligibility, or library access requirements are met. Those requirements are determined by each platform. See AI tool access information and streaming access information. Don’t assume every feature is available just because the client shows a connection icon.

If you still can’t access the service, retrace the steps in order: confirm your plan is active in the dashboard, the client updated the subscription successfully, the configuration is enabled, a route is selected, and system permissions are granted. Keep your current configuration and try changing only the route. If none of the routes work, check that your local network is working and that no other proxy or VPN app is running. Don’t delete your account or repeat a payment to troubleshoot.

For help, open a support ticket from the user dashboard. Include your operating system, the error shown in the client, whether the issue occurred during import or connection, and what you’ve already tried. Before sharing a screenshot, hide your username, sensitive order details, and subscription URL. For a deeper look at route comparisons and troubleshooting, see the VPN Selection Guide. If everything is working, keep your current settings and update the subscription when needed.
